Matcha Review

9/28/17 note: It seems the price has increased to $33.91 on Amazon.

1/1/16 Tasting: Updating rating from 5/5 to 4.5/5. This matcha is bright warm green, has a nice froth, fresh hay smell, smooth and silky texture. The body is creamy. It has a smooth and balanced flavor with a slight bitter note on the end. Note the updated price per ounce of $25.57.

DoMatcha Organic Ceremonial Matcha | Matcha Reviews

2/22/14 Tasting: DoMatcha is packaged in a sealed tin can, inside is a sealed bag. The matcha is a beautiful bright green in color. This means the leaves were picked young and dried properly. It has a delicate fresh grass smell. After whisking, the matcha is full of bubbles and froth (as good matcha should be). The taste is smooth, creamy, and bittersweet. Like dark chocolate. DoMatcha isn’t cheap, but if you want the real deal, this is it. Price per ounce was $26.61.
